We’re delighted to present our new video! It was filmed in Glasgow during our Scottish tour in September, and introduces Aimée Farrell Courtney as our new bodhrán player.
The song was written by Kim in thanks for the life of her dad. "Mòran Taing" means "many thanks" in Scots Gaelic.
It is time to say goodbye in style to our inimitable Rolf who had to leave us for private reasons. We’ve shared some hilariously funny moments, some truly blessed and musically inspired ones, and of course we also shared the day-to-day life on the road, where a sign for the favourite burger chain by the side of the highway is enough to get a certain bodhrán player ridiculously excited… We will probably keep up the good old Cara tradition „when in doubt, ask Rolf - he’s got the answer“, and we will definitely meet up to do the wishbone ash experiment (will Hendrik or Rolf find water)? To us, „Rolfing“ will always mean „a person who wants to try every available dish“, and none of us will ever be in danger of falling for obscure remedies. Thank you for 15 years on the road together and for being a vital part of the Cara family. The memories will still make us smile when we’re old!
All the best for the future!
